Display of Lesson Images

In the settings of a course, you can choose whether only the modules are displayed in the course overview (Grid View) or whether users can also see lessons (List View). If you select the List View, the lesson covers will be displayed.

Depending on whether you set the course overview to Grid View or List View, the structure and thus the overview changes. We will now show you both variations. To do this, first navigate to your course in the Course Overview.

Then select "Main Information" on the left side and scroll down to "Module layout for students":

The List View is set as the default. If you have List View active, the course overview currently looks like this for the end-user. This means the lesson images are visible in the course overview.

You can view the overview at any time under "Preview" (bottom left), mark the respective course as "purchased", and view everything from the perspective of an end-user.

If you now switch the view to "Grid View" and save, the end-users will only be able to see the modules with the cover images in the course overview and not the individual lesson images:

Additionally, you can standardize your cover images for all courses. You can find out more about this later in this article.
