What the AI Assistant Does

The AI Assistant answers questions, supports customer service, and can actively drive sales—around the clock. This tutorial walks you through the setup.

Where to Find It

Tools → AI Assistant

Toggle the assistant on/off. When enabled, it’s visible to your customers.

Note: The chat version is unlimited with the AI Assistant license. You also receive 50 monthly credits for all AI features.

Core Configuration

1) Mode

Choose how the assistant is available:

  • Chat + Audio (Chat default, user can switch)

  • Audio + Chat (Audio default, user can switch)

  • Chat only

  • Audio only

2) AI Model

A single model is currently available. Switching isn’t possible yet. Additional models will be added in the future.

3) Conversation Style

Pick the form of address:

  • Informal (“du”)

  • Formal (“Sie”)
(Select what fits your audience and language.)

4) Voice (for audio mode)

Choose from predefined voices. Available voices vary by language.

5) Profile Image

Upload your own or select an image.

Recommendation: Use an artificial image (not a real person) to avoid confusion.

6) Assistant Title

The text shown in the assistant bubble (bottom right) before the user opens it.
Tip: Use a call-to-action like “Ask AI-Sophie” rather than just a name.

7) Conversation Starter

A short opening line the assistant sends to kick off the chat.

8) Assistant Mode

  • Support: Answers questions, responds to requests.

  • Tutor: Also motivates and nudges users to take action.

9) Additional Instructions (Prompt)

Define the assistant’s personality and behavior (tone, boundaries, priorities).

Set a Sales Goal (optional, recommended)

Have the assistant work toward a goal (e.g., selling a course or booking a coaching call).

1) Goal Name (internal)

Visible only to you, e.g., “Sell Course ABC.”

2) Call-to-Action Link

The link the assistant should promote (order form, calendar, webshop, landing page).

3) Primary Course to Sell

Select the course/coaching to sell.

Important: Without this, the assistant can’t detect when the goal is achieved.

4) Similar/Equivalent Courses

List courses that count as equivalent. If the user already has access to one, the assistant won’t try to sell again.

5) Marketing Mode

  • Supportive: Mentions the goal only when asked.

  • Advisory: Occasionally recommends proactively.

  • Conversion-oriented: Focuses actively on closing/registration.

6) Advanced Settings

  • Max total reminders: Overall cap on how often the goal is mentioned.

  • Max reminders per time window: e.g., 1 per 24 hours.

  • Time window (hours): defines the window, e.g., 24.

  • Opt-out period (days): After the user says “not interested,” the goal is paused for X days (0 = indefinitely).

7) Additional Goal Instructions (Prompt)

Provide angles, offers, and deadlines.
Examples:

  • Black Friday: 50% off until November 28.”

  • Holiday promo: Extra bonus until December 24.”

Testing the Assistant

  • Enable the assistant.

  • Log in with a customer account and test the end-user experience.
    (Preview options are being expanded.)

Best Practices

  • Strong assistant title (CTA) + concise opener → higher engagement.

  • Tutor mode for activation; Support mode for reactive help.

  • Keep prompts specific (audience, tone, priorities).

  • Use reminder limits to avoid over-messaging.

Conclusion

Think of the AI Assistant as an extra team member—always on, consistent, and scalable. Its impact, however, depends on your offer, positioning, and strategy. Build a clear, valuable offer and sound structure first. With that foundation, the AI Assistant becomes a genuine game-changer for your business.
